Relax on over 3 acres of privacy. This two bedroom cedar cottage was completely remodeled inside and out in 1998. It has a modern kitchen, living room and full bath. The master bedrooms has a full size double bed and the second bedroom has single bunk beds. The living room has a newer double bed sleeper sofa and matching rocker. View the woods from the front porch which has been finished in white aspen tongue & groove. Includes heat, air conditioning and ceiling fans. Open year round.

Amenities -Bed linens are provided, but you'll need towels. -Gas grill and utensils. -Microwave oven -Coffee & coffee maker -Cable Television and VCR. -Ceiling Fans. -Cell phone coverage is excellent. -Plenty of parking for your boat & trailer. -Comfortable cabin furniture to relax on.
Activities Grill steaks and serve dinner or drinks on the patio, or try one of the many nearby restaurants for really fine cuisine. At night, relax by the campfire and check out the stars. Lake Pokegama is a 15,000-acre lake offering crystal clear water and excellent fishing for all species, including Lake Trout. Twenty pounders are pulled up through the ice every winter. Boat trips can last all day, exploring the many islands and the Mississippi river. Water skiing is no problem in the many calm bays. Have a picnic and go for a swim at Tioga Beach/Park that is a 5-minute car ride or take your boat there. The Forest History center is just one mile away and the historic town of Grand Rapids just five minutes. For those who enjoy north woods life close to town, this is the best of both worlds.
Area Trail bike or ATV ride directly from the cabin. Several golf courses are just a short drive. Take a ride up scenic Highway 38 North for a view of the Chippewa National Forest and the Edge of the Wilderness National Scenic Byway.
