Lake Koshkonong cottage Rental Property Information

( Very easy access to this property in winter and summer, no chance of being stranded) Come and explore the small towns in the area and retreat back to this, super clean, Cozy hideaway. Relax in this very, very, private,(no neighbors) soothing cabin nestled back among the trees, sitting high on a hilltop, overlooking the Rock River at Indianford. This property borders the property, where the late author Sterling North, spent much of his childhood. The foundation of the cabin, where he came up with many of the exploits as told in his popular book 'Rascal”, is still visible today. Although it has just one bedroom, this place is far from confining. There is a huge private yard, a Screened Porch, deck or a private pier to relax on. A fire pit is on site. Pets welcome. This cabin has one bedroom, one sleeper sofa, and a kitchen with all utensils included. Free use of wireless internet, paddleboat, canoe or jon boat.

You will also have your very own private pier to do a little fishing or just for relaxing. This is a very safe environment to just even get away for sometime alone, or for Mom and a couple of friends to relax and get away from it all. The Towne Country Club is just 5 minutes away and open to the public for golfing on a beautiful course, with a couple of the holes designed by Edgerton native, Steve Stricker. Also, Edgerton has a great Aquatic Facility for relaxing around the pool on a hot summer day. You might want to take a stroll across the bridge and have lunch at The Sundown Tavern, or The Edgewater Cafe, or pick up some bait and supplies at Treps Bait Shop. This is a great place to just watch the world go by. Amenities:There is parking available for your boat and trailer We have microwave, coffee maker, toaster, charcoal gril, refrigerator, stove, cable TV/VCR. Air- conditioning, towels-linens.

Activities: Great small town style shopping, no further than a scenic, leisurely, 20 minute drive. See additional property Listing #7606 for more information. Also great fishing for walleye in April and May, up and down the river and at the dam. Also enjoy use of paddle boat or Jon boat, free of charge (Must be shared with listing 7606).
