Crested Butte condo Rental Property Information

Beautiful condominium with lovely views on Crested Butte mountain, right next to lifts. Great for beginners. In Summer, Mountain bike trails in back, easy walk to gondola for fun ride up mountain. There are tough mountain-biking trails right out back, and also a real real easy one that takes you into town, where you can sling your bike on the back of the town bus for free and ride back up. The fishing is great, and river rafting/canoeing is a must. Try Crested Butte in summer! In Winter, completely ski-in/ski-out. The ski school is right next door, as are two lifts, Peachtree and the new quad lift. In the morning, you ski down to the quad, which is free, and then ski down to buy your lift ticket- you don't have to plan your day ahead. The sweet ski school for children is about 100 feet from the bottom of the quad lift - but you can also ski strait to it from the top of the quad (or West Wall lift, as it is called).

The run down to the condo at the end of the day from the top of the mountain is the prettiest on the hill, with almost 360 degree views of the whole valley. The tbar hill is the best sledding hill on the mountain after hours! And the views are spectacular of all Crested Butte valley. In Fall, especially September 15-October 15 the leaves on the Aspens and Cottonwoods are a riot of color. Fishing, golfing, biking, and hiking beckon everywhere. BR B Amenities: /B BR Fireplace (huge woodpile outside is free), deck with barbecue, TV, stereo, VCR, great kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and oven, plus plenty of dishes and pans, 1 king bed and 4 single beds, 2 in one room and 2 in the other. There's a sleeper in the living room. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Sauna and Jacuzzi in building. There is a shuttle service.

BR B Activities: /B BR Enjoy skiing, mountain biking (the center of mountain biking in Colorado), wildflower viewing tours (plus festival!), hiking, fishing, mountain climbing (awesome!), sledding, cross-country skiing, kayaking in rivers (also awesome), tennis (courts are in the town for the community - the balls FLY! because of the altitude), golfing, river canoeing, ballooning, river floating while fishing (a must), snowmobiling, rafting, horseback riding, dog sledding, camping, backpacking, shopping, and really, really fine dining. BR B Area: /B BR Crested Butte is a wonderful recreational mountain town, a half-hour out of Gunnison. It has a western feel, yet is very sophisticated. It is in a beautiful, untouched area of Colorado - a welcome break from the crowded resorts like Aspen or Vail. The ski trails are awesome; the whole beauty of this place will carry you away.
