Whether you are looking for a relaxing do nothing but lay out on the beach vacation or having a full schedule of running around Corolla has it all. There are so many sites to see. You have The Whalehead Club, Currituck Lighthouse, Jockey's Ridge State Park, take a guided tour of the 4-wheel drive area to see the wild horses and there is a nearby nature trail. There are plenty of shops in Corolla and nearby Duck for the shopper. You can play miniature golf or golf at the Currituck Golf Club. Dawg Days offers community tennis courts and there is a basketball goal at the house. There is an area lake that is great to stroll around and watch your dog(s) swim and play.

Super Dog Friendly

Dawg Days loves dogs!!!! Being a dog owner or should I say dogs owner..we know how much fun it is when you bring your family 4-legger. Our first vacation with our dog...Petedog...was very memorable. The kids had so much fun watching him roll in something stinky and then running to give them a smooch or playing with him in the ocean. We wanted to make sure other families could enjoy the same thing we have. So that's how Dawg Days came about. We have dog bowls, crate, toys and even a dog bed! We fenced in the backyard so that your precious 4-legger(s) won't run out into the street or run to the nearby lake like ours would do every chance they got!

Amenities

We've done alot to our Dawg Days since we bought it a few year back. We like to think we have made our vacation home feel like a home to our renters. We added free cable modem with wireless capabilities. I know that comes in handy for us when the kids come with us. We have so many toys for all ages..big legos for little hands and little legos for big hands! We have Playstation II. I decided it was time to clean out the basement and all my grown kids toys made the migration to Dawg Days! We have beach toys that can be used at the house or in the play area underneath the house. We added a hammock to rest and relax in after you have rested and relaxed in the hot tub.
