Crested Butte condo Rental Property Information

Beautiful 2-story, 2000 sq. ft. 4 bedroom 3 bath condominium with beautiful view of Crested Butte valley, ski-in/ski-out, at the Crested Butte resort. Completely remodeled in white - Scandinavian-style, with marble counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms, light and airy design. The main floor has 3 bedrooms, a living room, dining area, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There are 2 huge king beds and 2 queen beds, and 3 queen pullouts, 2 in the loft. Every room is 2 stories high, as the rooms go up into the gabled roof of the building. Look up and you'll see the beautiful wood beams in every room. You walk into it (no stairs.) It is the topmost unit (no footsteps overhead), but is entered as though on the ground floor as the condo is on a hillside. Store your skis in a nook just inside the front door. It is truly ski-in/out and has a beautiful view of the valley. There's a foosball table, wifi, and a grill.

Amenities: Fireplace, deck with barbecue, 3 TV's, stereo, VCR, brand new DVD, great kitchen with new dishwasher and microwave and plenty of dishes and pans, washer/dryer, 2 king beds with especially thick mattresses and 2 queen beds, all in large western-style wood-carved frames, 3 queen sleeper couches (2 in loft).Beautifully decorated and furnished. Free wood for fireplace. Heating in rooms controlled room-by-room. Jacuzzi bathtub in master bathroom and second bathroom. Sauna and jacuzzi in building. Jacuzzi is nice - there are sign-up sheets so it's private. Marble counter tops in bathrooms and kitchen. The loft is a perfect hangout place for kids. There is a free shuttle service owned by the condo that takes you everywhere. The shuttle service runs from 8 a.m. till midnight,and will take you anywhere in Crested Butte.The driver carries a cellphone. There is fabulous sledding after hours on the hill next to the condo, and inner tubes at the base to rent. Wifi! Foosball!

More information: You walk strait into it (no stairs). It is the topmost unit (no footsteps overhead), but is entered as though on the ground floor as the unit is on the hillside. It is truly ski-in/out and has a beautiful view of the valley. There will be a brand new chair lift to ski to from the condo, so little ones will have no trouble. There is so much space around this building you will feel like you are in a cabin. There is no building above you or on either side.

Summer, Fall and Winter: In winter, completely ski-in/ski-out. The ski school is right next door, as are two lifts, Peachtree and the new chair lift. You could literally ski into the condo at the end of the day if you could ski on wood. Have your lift tickets put in the room - you can order ahead at a discount thru the building. The run down to the condo at the end of the day from the top of the mountain is the prettiest on the hill, with almost 360 degree views of the whole valley. The best sledding hill in Crested Butte is right next door (the formeIn Fall, especially September 15-October 15 the leaves on the Aspens are a riot of color. Fishing, golfing, biking, and hiking beckon everywhere. For mountain bikers, the Upper Loop starts a few feet away. Take the lift to the top and hike or mountain bike down! The fishing is great, and river rafting/canoeing is a must. Try Crested Butte in summer!

Local Area: Enjoy skiing, mountain biking (the center of mountain biking in Colorado), wildflower viewing tours (plus festival!), hiking, fishing, mountain climbing (awesome!), sledding, cross-country skiing, kayaking in rivers (also awesome), tennis (courts are in the town for the community - the balls Fly! because of the altitude), golfing, river canoeing, ballooning, river floating while fishing (a must), snowmobiling, rafting, horseback riding, dogsledding, camping, backpacking, shopping, and really, really fine dining. Crested Butte is a wonderful recreational mountain town, a half hour out of Gunnison. It has a western feel, yet is very sophisticated. It is in a beautiful, untouched area of Colorado - a welcome break from the crowded resorts like Aspen or Vail. The ski trails are awesome, the whole beauty of this place will carry you away.

In our travels we have stayed at a wide range of condos and I can honestly say that yours ranks among the best. Not only is it spacious, but the layout is perfect. Three separate couples could stay and enjoy their own private spaces (bedromms & baths) and yet also enjoy the togetherness of each other. We also appreciated that everything we needed was there from appliances to dishes to washer and dryer. And, everything WORKED! We will definitely be back for another visit.
