The Beach Getaway is a rare retreat in both its location and exquisite amenities. It is located in the most desirable location in Santa Barbara, the Historic West Beach Area, just steps away from the Beach, Public Pool, Stearns Wharf, Harbor, world-class dining, and downtown shops, including our own local farmers market. Leave your car and worries behind. We even offer RARE off street reserved parking. The Beach Getaway resides in a historical turn of the century building and retains the charm of the days gone by. My husband and I spent a year working with craftsmen and designers to create a unique vacation rental reflecting the style of the early 1900's and Santa Barbara. The hand cast plaster gives it both a romantic and European feeling. And the 10-foot ceilings, Waterford fireplace, hard wood and limestone floors all add to its ambiance. You will not find a comparable vacation rental for the price - quality, amenities & location.

Exquisite antique furnishings, which date to the late 1800's, were hand selected and imported from Europe. Both bedrooms offer Antique queen feather beds. One bedroom offers a desk with wireless high speed internet access. Each bedroom is complimented with a full bath. The bathrooms are immaculate - all new with limestone floors, granite countertops and French tiles. The sparkling new & open kitchen has hardwood floors and granite counter tops with a cook top range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. Its granite counter tops include a dining area for 5. The warm & cozy living room has wood floors, Waterford fireplace, and couch with full pullout bed, TV, DVD and stereo. Enjoy the views, through the glass French door, to the large private courtyard and potted flowers. The courtyard has an Italian fountain and green shrubbery that can be enjoyed on chaise lounges and wrought iron dining table and chairs.
A large gas grill has also been provided for enjoyment of our local flavors. The Beach Getaway is a rare high quality vacation destination in the heart of Santa Barbara! We also do NOT have a ladder up to the attic/loft as a bedroom. These are key attributes that you must compare us to and essential to a peaceful stay.
