Historic Apley House has hosted happy family vacations for over 70 years. Situated in the middle of conservation land, this spacious summer home is perfect for people who enjoy water-sports and the outdoors. You can swim, fish and boat on one of Southeastern Massachusetts' pristine glacial lakes. Enjoy quiet morning strolls along woodland paths and visit the nearby historic sites in Plymouth and Cape Cod in the afternoon. Plus, Apley House is just a short drive away from shops, ocean beaches and Plymouth's great golf courses. Avoid wrangling with Cape Cod traffic and stay in Plymouth. Apley House offers spacious housekeeping accommodations. The cottage has four bedrooms, a large updated country kitchen, a comfy living room with fireplace, a screened porch and two bathrooms.

Beautiful Long Pond has clean, clear waters and a sandy bottom. With a high percentage of natural shoreline, the pond offers a peaceful respite. The landscape is covered in pine woods. Much of the property surrounding Apley House has been preserved as conservation land. You can walk for miles on the sandy trails. All of the tourist sites, golf courses and beached in Plymouth are very close -- less than 20 minutes away. You can access the Lower Cape within 1 hour and the Outer Cape is a hefty day trip.

It sleeps up to 9 -- great for families and groups! Also available: The Lilli Group, four cabins that come as a unit and sleep up to 8 people. The Lilli Group is usually available in June and September for weeks or long weekends. The Palace: A charming two bedroom cottage with a fantastic sandy beach. The Palace sleeps up to 6 and is available by the week from May through October. We are occasionally able to accommodate larger groups (up to 35) in these and our family cabins. Please call early in the year to make arrangements. For more information on all our cottages, please call or email for a web page link. BR B Amenities: /B BR Private beach with dock and raft. Full eat-in kitchen with stove, refrigerator and microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer, telephone, screened porch, large living room with television, fireplace, bath with shower (downstairs), and bath with old fashioned claw-foot tub (upstairs), barbecue grill. Sleeps 8, bed linens provided.

Swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, bicycling, visit Plymouth and Cape Cod sites, about 15 minute drive to Plymouth Bay beaches and an easy trip to Lower Cape beaches.
