There are 120 steep stairs to the house. There is a railing on the way down to hold, but it is not filled in below the railing. Also part of the deck does not have a railing. If you have small children, you can isolate the part of the deck that has a railing. Please call to discuss.

Accessed down a STEEP STAIRWAY (120 STEPS), this two-story home has a large open kitchen/living/dining area with hardwood floors/oriental rugs on the first floor...3 bedrooms and a sitting room on the 2nd floor. Full bath on first floor; 1/2 bath and separate shower room on second floor.

Amenities Dishwasher/Microwave/Cable TV/VCR/Stereo w/CD Player/Fireplace/Gas BBQ/Washer & Dryer/Towels & Linens.

Activities Vashon is a wonderful island for bicycling, beach walking, hiking, horseback riding,...there is also a place to rent kayaks and a protected beach where it is possible to swim if you are hardy...Puget Sound is cold and the beach retreat is on the open part of Puget Sound so it is beautiful, but not for swimming...though great for fishing and crabbing.
