The Inn of Nectar in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, is conveniently located just a few minutes off the Santa Fe-Taos highway in the beautiful Espanola Valley. It sits on five acres of landscaped high desert land nestled in the Sombrillo Hills. The view paints a magnificent panorama, with sacred Black Mesa, the Sangre de Cristo and Jemez Mountains, and the Santa Cruz, Chama, and Rio Grande Valleys all clearly visible from our hilltop location. This view can be enjoyed from both our hilltop gazebo and our rejuvenating outdoor hot tub. Our land adjoins 700 acres of open BLM land that offers extensive horse and walking trails. We are also a seven minute walk from the GRD Yoga and Health Centers, where classes and special events are available to you if you wish. The Inn of Nectar is centrally located to all the enchanting sights and activities of northern New Mexico. We are 20 minutes from both Santa Fe and Los Alamos, and 45 minutes from Taos.

The town of Espanola is only five minutes away. Here you have shopping, restaurants, cinemas, casinos, etc.
Amenities:
The Inn of Nectar is an affordable self contained vacation rental. This 1,000 square foot house has two bedrooms, large living room with sofa beds, full bath, kitchen, dining area, laundry room and two patios. The Inn can sleep up to eight individuals and 10,if you also rent the adjoining Kokopelli Suite. They contains many Santa Fe style features such as vigas (beams), latillas, nichos, rough cut wood, saltillo tile floors with radiant heat, custom made sconces (light fixtures), brick patios (one covered), adobe-style walls and custom tiled bathroom. There are views of the Jemez Mountains to the West with wonderful sunsets. The Inn has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven and dishwasher, a washer/dryer, private phone, and TV/VCR. We have our own video library, as well as magazines, books and audio tapes. There is a CD/tape player.

Also available is an adjoining suite, with one bedroom/living room, kitchenette,and full bathroom. This unit and be rented separately, or in conjunction with the Inn of Nectar. No smoking is allowed anywhere in the houses. The kitchens are vegetarian but if necessary we'll provide an outside grill for non veggie food prep. Healthful vegetarian meals can also be provided on request for an extra charge. We are a family oriented establishment. Children of all ages are welcome as are pets(for a fee.) Toys and a swing set are available. For the business traveler, fax, copier, e-mail, Internet, and other computer services are available on the property. We also rent other houses. Please inquire.
Activities:
For the recreational minded, we are close to hiking, horse and biking trails. There are 2 golf courses nearby, one across the road. There are many hot springs in the area, both developed and undeveloped.

White water rafting is only one half hour away and for milder paddling and fishing there is a nearby lake. For the adventuresome snow-lovers, New Mexico is the heart of Southwestern ski and snowboard country from late fall to early spring. The Inn is within an hour of six downhill ski areas for you to explore, including Taos, Angel Fire, and Santa Fe, which are famous for world-class snow conditions. Cross country skiing and snow shoeing are even closer, and snowshoes are available here at the Inn. Most snow activity will be above 8,000 feet, while Amrit Nivas is cozily located at 6,000 feet, where the winter days are almost always sunny and mild and the nights cold and clear. During your stay, you will want to take advantage of the rich Indian heritage of New Mexico and visit historical sites in our area. The Inn of Nectar is close to spectacular Anasazi sites at Bandelier National Monument and Puye Cliff Dwellings.

Skiing Information: Kundalini Yoga classes are available every day at the nearby GRD Yoga and Meditation Center. Every Sunday there is chanting, meditation and a communal meal at the nearby Sikh Temple. Also in the area are Zen and Christian Monasteries, an Islamic Mosque, The Hanuman Temple and The Lama Foundation.
Area:
We are in Northern New Mexico very close to Santa Fe. The climate is relatively mild with lots of sunshine all year round Summer is hot up to 95degrees but not humid so it is comfortable out of the sun. Winter is cold at night below freezing but days are usually 40-60 degrees. Spring and fall have warm days and cool nights and fewer tourists. We are in a rural location but very close to town with all conveniences described elsewhere. You can see the Black Mesa Golf Course from our property and it is only a 5 minute drive there and 15 minute drive to Towa Golf Course.

Golf Information: Chaco Canyon and Mesa Verde National Park are also only a few hours away by car. The Anasazi are the ancestors of the present Southwestern Indians. Today, Northern New Mexico remains a vital area of art and history for both traditional Hispanic and Pueblo Indian cultures. There are fiestas throughout the year. Santa Fe and Taos are loaded with art galleries and shops but the homes and studios of traditional and modern artists and crafts people are located throughout the small communities surrounding us. There are also Indian casinos. You can visit their studios by appointment. We are a 15 minute drive from the Santa Fe Opera, the Shidoni Foundry and Sculpture Garden and the Santa Fe Flea Market. After a long day come back and soak in our spa at sunset. On hot days you can sit by or under our 20 ft. waterfall and refresh yourself. Massage and other body therapies can be arranged from a practitioner close by. Northern New Mexico is a mecca for holistic health practitioners.

There is a lot more to this area than the City of Santa Fe and we are ideally sited for visiting it For example we are only 10 minutes from the famous Santuario de Chimayo, We especially cater to families in a relaxed environment.
