Expect to see a cornucopia of wildlife in your back yard - antelope, deer, bald eagles, pheasants, sand hill cranes, ducks, geese, great horned owls, and even an occasional moose and elk (just to name a few). Big Trout Ranch is located in a pristine area of Southwestern Montana, about 2.5 hours from Yellowstone. The area is unique in that it remains largely agrigcultural, and relatively unscathed by modern development. The landscape is sparsley populated with many of the large historic ranches still intact. The Beaverhead River winds through the ranch, and the property is surrounded (360 degrees) by the majestic Rocky Mountains. The area is a magnet for anglers because of the access to 5 major rivers (Beaverhead, Ruby, Jefferson, Madison, & Big Hole), plus numerous smaller streams. The typical catches are Rainbow and Brown trout. Bird watching is also a favorite pastime of visitors to Southwest Montana. The Sandhill Cranes make their annual migration to the area in mid-March. Sandhills, Great Horned Owls, Bald Eagles, and over 100 species of birds nest on the property.

Kamloops: A 5BD/4BA home that overlooks a sprawling park like setting with numerous streams and ponds that comprise the river bottom. Observe an incredible variety of wildlife from an expansive deck. The house has been tastefully decorated with custom made lodge pole pine furniture. The recreation room has an antique 100+ year old high back bar(see photo above), darts, pool and poker tables. All rooms have great views. Beds: 1 king, 3 queens, and 2 twins. Sleeps 5-10.

BIG BROWN: An impressive 2800 sq. ft. 4BD/5BA rustic log home that features huge open beams and a two storey floor plan. The home is decorated in a fun western motif, with custom lodge pole furniture and western antiques. The home has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths upstairs, and a living room, dining room, den, and bathroom on the lower floor. The den is perfect as a reading room, or extra bedroom. Bed set up is as follows: 4 queens, and 2 twins, with a roll-a-way available on request. Sleeps 4-8.

Vintage Log Cabin: This historic one room log cabin sets on the bank of a stream, and is located in a completely private location on the ranch. It is perfect for a single, a couple, or a couple with a small child. Cabin has one queen bed. The nightly rate is $95/night or $650/week.
