Villas Topaz is within 500 yards of the ocean, 2 streets from a major grocery store/liquor store, walking distance to a public beach, restaurants, shopping and night life. The convenient location is terrific but only one reason guests love it. The large outdoor area features a 2 level fresh water swimming pool with a small rock fountain and a lovely tropical garden. There are cushioned lounge chairs, a tropical shade tree, 2 patios, hammocks, gas BBQ grill, outdoor shower, secure drying areas for scuba or snorkeling equipment, dive rinse tank and secure off-street parking. Each floor at Villas Topaz is totally separate and private with 2 bd, 2 ba, a living area, kitchen, color TV, cable, CD player, DVD player, DVD movies and music CDs, safe for valuables, wireless internet service & a phone for local 7 digit calls. Maids use the washers & dryers during the day to launder sheets & towels, but guests may use the washers & dryers for personal laundry in the evenings.

For your enjoyment there is a selection of DVD movies, music CDs and books, and your kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, blender, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, spice rack, dishes, glasses, (including wine and margarita glasses) cookware, and we do provide purified water for drinking and cooking. Each 2 bedroom unit also has a small safe for valuables in the living area and we provide hair dryers, a fold away drying rack, use of the washer and dryer in the evening for personal laundry, an iron and ironing board, pool and beach toys and a cooler to take to the beach. There is free, wireless high speed internet so bring your laptop. The air conditioning throughout is thermostatically set and operated by a remote control in each room. There are ceiling fans, special cushioning on the beds for extra comfort and a pressurized water system.

The solid wood Mexican rustic furniture is upholstered in imported fabrics, the custom made curtains are fully lined and there is an assortment of interesting local decorations, original paintings, metal sculpture and traditional talavera pottery. The 4 king size beds have special cushioning for comfort, and one king size bed downstairs and one upstairs each can be converted to 2 twin beds on request. In addition, in one bedroom downstairs there is a double size futon. If requested, we can also provide one or two additional fold away single beds with a steel frame and thick foam mattress. This means guests have a great deal of flexibility in the bedding arrangement. If your group is 4 couples each can have a king size bed. If it's a group of divers that want individual beds we can provide up to 9 individual beds. For families with children we can provide a Pack N Play crib, high chair, booster seat and stroller if requested when you make your reservation.

There are 2 phone lines for making local, 7 digit calls and guests who have ATT, MCI or Sprint international long distance can call the toll free numbers for those services in order to make long distance calls from the villa. Phone numbers for these services are posted by the phone along with information for the wireless internet service. Linens and bath towels are provided and changed twice a week. We do provide beach towels. Activities on Cozumel include scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, beaches, a dive with dolphins program, para sailing, wind surfing, kite boarding, deep sea fishing and bone fishing, sailing, zip line tour, ATV or jeep tours, kayaking, glass bottom boats, catamaran cruises and a submarine ride. There's also a botanical park, a Nicklaus designed golf course (Cozumel Country Club), horseback riding, miniature golf, movie theaters, wonderful restaurants, local Mayan ruins and of course shopping.
