The Plantation Style Homes in Hawaii are designed for natural airflow and cross ventilation, depending mostly on the constant trade winds to keep the house cool. In most cases, the home is nice and cool with all windows opened and ceiling fans on. There are some days in Hawaii where nothing you do will cool down the house as there is hot winds coming in from the Big Island 'Kona Winds' and no trade winds. Those are the days to spend the entire day and night at the beach to keep cool. Most homes in Hawaii do not have AC. I do have an AC unit in the Office/Twin room for the rare occasion that you really need it. Large wrap around Lanai almost 600 square feet. Enjoy relaxing on the large Plantation style lanai with beautiful Mountain, waterfall and rainbow views! Relax and/or BBQ on your comfortable and spacious lanai, enjoying beautiful mountain views, Waterfalls and Rainbows. The Lanai is large enough to protect you from the rain and enjoy the great temperatures of Hawaii.

About Princeville Resort Located one lot from the Prince Albert Park, with a tree-lined walk path leading in one direction to the Parks new playground, Princeville Shopping Center, for restaurants, banks, shopping, grocery store, library, etc.. Path in the other direction will lead you to the bluffs edge, where you can take a short hike down to Anini Beach The prestigious 'St. Regis' is minutes down the road and offers 1st Class Restaurants, Entertainment and Events. The new Westin Princeville is a short walk from the house and has a great restaurant and mini store. For Shopping, Restaurants, Grocery Store, Gas, etc.... the Princeville Shopping Center is a short walk from the house. Hanalei Town is about 5 - 7 minutes drive. Kapaa Town also has shopping. * Ask Owner for a Map of Princeville, showing the points of interest and location of this house.

Includes, Things to Do, Siteseeing, Restaurant and Farmer's Market Guide, Activities, Island Information and many more help reccomendations by Owner. Owner's used to live on the Islands for 20 year, so has extensive knowledge of the Islands and can give you information to help make your vacation the best! For Families traveling with Small Children, Owner recommends 'North Shore Baby Gear'. Delivery and Pick up of just about anything you will need to travel and accommodate small children. Located on the bluff that overlook two beautiful beach communities, Princeville is about a 5 - 7 minute drive to either beach. Hanalei Bay is rated in the top 10 beaches in the World because of it's crescent shape and dramatic mountain views, famous to Surfers all over the world. Anini is also nearby with shallow waters and reef, good for windsurfing, standing paddling and kids play.

Golf Information: Golf, Spa,Fitness: Princeville is home to two World Class Golf Courses. The Prince Course is rated in the top 10 in the country and the Makai Course is in the top 100 Golf courses. The Prince Golf Course and the Makai Golf Course. Under new Ownership, both courses will soon be 'PGA' Courses. The 'Princeville Golf and Spa' is located minutes up the road.
