There are wonderful dining and shopping options just 10 minutes away at the Mashpee Commons and 15 minutes away in Falmouth Center. All of Falmouth's magnificent beaches are within a short drive from the house. A ferry leaves from Falmouth Harbor several times a day for day trips to Martha's Vineyard. Day trips to Nantucket are available from Hyannis, which is about 30 minutes away. The remainder of Cape Cod can be explored by car; Provincetown is only 71 miles from Falmouth.
