  • The Master bedroom has a kingsized bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and a down comforter, there is a half bathroom attached and a large picture window overlooking the granite rocks and the changing tide. Another bedroom, the original Master bedroom, has a queensized brass bed with its own picture window and beautiful view (also with Egyptian cotton sheets and down comforter), A third bedroom has twin beds, and a fourth has a two bed bunk bed setup for kids.

The kitchen has an old fashioned enamel sink, and a new stove and fridge. Living room is equipped with state-of-the-art Giant screen Sony TV with Blu-ray, Wii and ROKU. The adjoining storeroom has a clothes washer and dryer. Outside, there is plenty of parking, a picnic table, chairs, barbeque, lobster bake setup and a hammock. Kayaks can be rented nearby, and you can launch right out front. The ocean has seals, loons, osprey, seagulls, a pair of bald eagles, yachts, schooners and an occasional lobster boat hauling traps outside your bedroom. Deer and Fox are often seen walking along the shore. The island opposite the cottage has a connecting causeway and a large quarry swimming hole everyone uses. The island is a 100 acre undeveloped paradise for hikers and explorers. Please visit the Craignair website to learn about sports, theater, antique shops, the world famous Rockland Lobster Festival and the dozens of things to see and do all within a thirty minute drive.
