  • A 200.00 dollar security deposit must be sent with rental payment. Deposit is refundable and will be returned after cottage inspection and within one week of the end of your rental term. Once you agree to rent the cottage, a 50% deposit must be paid within seven business days of agreement to rent. The rest of Rental payment, including 8.5% Maine Lodging tax is due at least 60 days prior to rental date. Cottage must be left in same condition in which it was found or a $75.00 cleaning charge will be assessed. Towels and sheets included in rental.
  • Dogs accepted with a $150 non-refundable dog fee per animal (max 2). Credit card accepted.

    Rentals run weekly from Saturday to Saturday. Check in after 3pm and check out by 10am

The second bedroom has a new queen bed and features a Dutch bed nook which can be used as a single bed or a cozy couch for reading and napping.

Notes:

Sunnyside is one of the Grande Dames of Merithew Square in the Historic Village of Bayside. We have recently purchased Sunnyside and are in the midst of a complete renovation. The photos you see here are the before pictures. The exterior of the house will be painted and will have more appropriate windows upstairs. The interior will be an open floor plan downstairs with a bath down and will have two large bedrooms with high ceilings (walls will go up to the peak) and a bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Check back with us to see more photos. We also own the house 'Little Bohmeia' a wonderful 1907 Arts and Crafts cottage, which you can find on this website. The interior of Sunnyside will be just as comfortable as Little Bohemia's interior.
