La Conchita and environs La Conchita de Cabuya is a private 2 bedroom home located on the beach in the quaint village of Cabuya at the entrance to Cabo Blanco Absolute Reserve, Costa Rica's first national park. The village offers a choice of small restaurants, a bakery, two grocery stores, a lending library and a variety of activities: swimming, kayaking, bicycling, snorkeling, horseback riding, hiking, birdwatching and wildlife observing. Natural attractions are the national park; Cabuya island (the village cemetery) accessible for sightseeing and snorkeling at low tide; and the Rio Lajas with freshwater swimming holes. Cabuya sits between Monezuma (7 km) with its active nightlife and variety of international restaurants and Mal Pais/Santa Teresa (7 km) known for world class surfing. After a day of activity return home to enjoy the tranquility of La Conchita and the pueblo of Cabuya or just enjoy it all day long!
