Ski Shores is an awesome burger joint, while County Line on the Lake is some of the best Bar-B-Que in town. Down by the Tom Miller Dam you’ll find Hula Hut for outdoor dining and drinks. Then you can go next door for dessert and coffee at Mozart's, which is also perfect for breakfast. Wi-Fi connections available as well as 6 large flat panel televisions and multiple telephones. There are two computers and a Fax/scanner/printer to read your morning paper, google restaurants and places of interest and print directions, or print boarding passes for return trips home. Nearby Barton Creek Country Club offers 4 PGA-class golf courses, along with dozens of other destination golf courses around Austin. Full service spas at Barton Creek and Lake Austin Spa & Resort also nearby as well as several day spas.

You are only 15-20 minutes from live music venues and outstanding restaurants in Downtown Austin and popular South Congress entertainment districts. Many outdoor hill country attractions are within a 30 to 90 minute drive including Fredricksburg, Enchanted Rock, Hamilton Pools, Lake Travis, and more! If you didn't already know, the great Austin weather allows golf and water sports virtually year round. Reserve well in advance for the perfect Austin vacation throughout the year. The home is well over 5500 sq ft and has 5 bedrooms plus a study and two additional living areas – A large great room open to the kitchen, overlooking the huge park-like backyard, and a game room, upstairs. There is are two king beds, two queens, a twin and full in one room, and a sofa sleeper. It features a full chef’s kitchen with 6 burner gas cook top, 48 inch built-refrigerator microwave, warming drawer and 30 inch oven.

It also has a full catering kitchen, complete with double ovens a second dishwasher, cook top and sink. This house is perfect for relaxation and gatherings for families and small, quite groups, as it is located in a residential neighborhood. Sorry, but due to neighborhood restrictions, we are unable to host weddings, large parties, or groups that need the freedom to 'party' without noise/activity restrictions. Maid service (cleaning) and Massage (references) available at reasonable rates.

Golf Information: Barton Creek Resort and Spa is about 10 minutes away with 4 PGA-Class Courses. There are multiple other golf courses within 15 to 20 minutes of the house - Austin Country Club, Austin Golf Club, Falconhead Gold Club, Lost Creek Country Club and Spanish Oaks Golf Club. River Place Country Club is about 30 minutes away.
