Nestled in one of the many coves along the St. George River, a vast salt waterway that empties into Penobscot Bay, Earthly Heaven is a classic shingle-style house. With over 900 feet of water frontage, this wonderful house has virtually all the ingredients for an authentic Maine oceanfront getaway. Located on Otis Point Road in Tenants Harbor, Earthly Heaven is private and serene. Five minutes from both the villages of Port Clyde and Tenants Harbor, Earthly Heaven is away from it all but provides easy access to all the St. George Peninsula and surrounding areas have to offer. The house is situated just feet from the water's edge; watch lobster boats cruise upriver to Thomaston, see across the river to Maple Juice Cove in Cushing across the way and the Camden Hills rising on the horizon.

A private dock and mooring make boat storage possible and a private beach, which gently eases into deeper water, is an excellent spot to launch a kayak or a canoe and is a perfect place for swimming. The main house has a deck with plenty of seating and a gravel patio with a propane grill. Inside, there is a dining room with water views and seating for 8. There is access to the deck from the dining room, making it a highly flexible space. A relaxing living room, with plenty of comfortable seating, shares a water view with the dining room. A well-equipped kitchen is located off the living room; two picture windows offer spectacular water views from the u-shaped kitchen. The newly-renovated and spectacular master bedroom is located upstairs in this portion of the house. Private, quiet and airy, the king-bedded master has a full bath with a custom two-head shower, vaulted ceiling, plenty of windows overlooking the water and a private sitting room. There is a large walk-in closet.

Downstairs there are two full bathrooms on the first floor as well as a laundry closet for guest use. A spacious den, with built-in shelving, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and floor-to-ceiling views of the waterfront, offers a perfect place to sit and relax. There is a game table in this room, making it a perfect gathering room. The house is also equipped with WI-FI Internet and satellite television. Off the den there is another wing of the house with two more bedrooms. The first floor bedroom offers two built-in twin beds and fantastic views of the front yard and the waterfront from a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. Up the spiral staircase, find two more twin built-in beds nestled into the eaves of the house. The guest house is located behind the main house. Recently renovated, the guest house has two rooms and one bathroom. The sitting room has a small dining table and a pull-out couch. The bedroom has a queen bed with an adjoining bathroom.
