Close to all major attractions! Sea World is just minutes away, as is Belmont Park & the historic Roller Coaster & the Wave House (seen on MTV - simulated surfing experience, music & lots more!). Located between Pacific Beach, with its quaint beach-village demeanor, and La Jolla....upscale shopping, art galleries, live theater, fab restaurants, and, of course, Torry Pines Golf course, Gliderport, Scripps, and more. Very easy access to the freeway that takes you north to LegoLand or the Carlsbad Outlet Mall (DKNY, Coach,etc.) and south to Balboa Park., home of 15 museums, the Reuben H. Fleet Space Center and the the world famous San Diego Zoo; Little Italy, Seaport Village, Gas Lamp District, Petco Park, Convention Center, the Midway and Star of India Maritime Museums....there's just so much to see and do within a 30 minute or so drive....not enough room to describe it all! Don't limit your visits to summer! There's something to see and do 365 days per year, and with our weather....need I say more?
Off-season Attractions, Military & Weddings Have you ever gone whale watching? No matter your age, being close to these magnificent creatures is a moving experience! January til about March finds these spectacular sea denizens on the move. There's always a great Run/Walkplanned, whether it's the Rock'N'Roll Marathon, the Susan G. Koman Cancer walk...you can participate or watch on the sidelines! From March's St. Patrick's Day Parade to the Little Italy Festival...the Greek Festival....December's Holiday Bowl Parade...we've got an event or attraction sure to please everyone. Our weather is always stellar and the rates are reduced (not to mention the crowds) during the off season. Why not take advantage of something out of the ordinary! Military Discounts - call for rates. All Great Escape properties support our military and we're close to several bases. Coming in for graduation ceremonies? Call for accommodations, please! Weddings - Many nearby locations available to house families coming in for weddings!
Sports Pro Sports - Football & Baseball We've got the Blue & Gold...San Diego Chargers....this year may be our year! The Padres....,okay, so maybe this isn't our year, but you can certainly come to support your team...Petco Park is something to see alright...great food, too! Tickets to the Chargers or Padres - my pal, Dion Rich, is the world-famous gate crasher par excellence...and a great ticket broker. Give me a call. best seats in the house! International soccer, rugby...have you ever heard of OTL? Before you go through those pearly gates, you've got to see Over-The-Line, a legendary beach baseball game originated right here on Fiesta Island. You'll talk about it forever! (Not a family event - adults only) Golf....some of the best golf courses in the country! Again, I've got connections to some terrific courses, both public & private....Fairbanks, The Bridges, etc.
Other Activities La Jolla & the Torrey Pines Golf Course is less than 15 minutes
