The bright, open kitchen is a great place to boil fresh shrimp and corn on the cob...or order pizza from Island favorite, Mellow Mushroom, or grab a take-and-bake from T.J.'s, both just 2 minutes away. There is also a great grilling deck with gas grill for fresh fish or a yummy steak from the Fresh Market, or cook up a storm in our fabulous kitchen. Have you ever rented a vacation home only to find that the glassware is old and mismatched, the cookware is nearly non-existent, and that there MIGHT be one or two old wine glasses hidden back in the dark, stained cabinets? We have!! And we did not want that experience to greet our guests? So expect- and enjoy- a true cush concept kitchen. Open from the kitchen are two sitting and conversation areas, one with 39'' LCD television, and both open to the spacious deck overlooking the Carolina lake. Stay connected to the outside world with high speed wireless internet in the house, and access to Hargray hot spots throughout the island.

FAQ: Bikes Biking is the BEST in Sea Pines, and the bike trail runs just in front of Carolina Place. You can have adult and child size bikes, toddler seats, and pull-alongs all delivered and waiting for you when you arrive. Please see our Guest Pack that you will receive when you inquire with your prospective dates of reservation. Location: The neighborhood of Carolina Place is near the main gate to Sea Pines and features the nicest neighborhood pool in the resort, plus private tennis courts. It's 15 minutes by bike to Harbour Town, The Beach Club, or South Beach, or less than 5 minutes by car to any of the three. Walk or bike to the Forest Preserve or Lawton Stables.

FAQ: Beach Beach Chairs: We have 8 folding beach chairs at the house along with a big beach umbrella, sand toys and lots of beach towels. Take the umbrella with you to the beach OR-- if you prefer, you may also rent the traditional chairs and umbrellas directly from the lifeguards. Full information is in our Guest Pack, which will be emailed to you when you inquire on your vacation dates. BEACH PROXIMITY -- Hop in your car and drive to Sea Pines Beach Club in less than 5 minutes. There you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas, sip a cool drink at the Beach Bar, or grab a freshly grilled burger from the grill. Children's activities, full baths, and a shore store complete the Beach Club. THE BEACH IS REALLY NOT WALKABLE FROM CAROLINA PLACE-- BEST TO DRIVE OR BIKE UNLESS YOU ARE UP FOR A REAL WALK FOR EXERCISE!
