New central air conditioning or heat,original hardwood floors, all Dade county pine, 6 feet claw foot cast iron bathtub, outside private hot water shower,private fenced in yard, Hunter ceiling fans in every room( energy efficient), on highest ground, hurricane shutters on every window, gas stove, deep water well and fully furnished. There is the original red hand pump mounted on the back deck for the well which actually works great.This provides the house with water for emergencies or whenever the power goes out.

Further Details for the house on the Florida Keys, Florida, USA

Parking in front of my home is private and can fit 1 car and 1 moped. You will be so close to all the action, you do not need a car at all. Walking or biking is the way to see Key West like the locals do. Bicycle rentals are down the street. If you would like to use my bikes, there are 2 bikes to use in the yard( you will feel like a local)and a lock is in the basket to use. The key is by the front door.

I am looking for the longer term rentals since I do not want a lot of traffic through the house. I would like to retire there some day, so this is not just a business for me, it is my home. It is about 121 years old too, so she likes good company. We think she was once inhabited by a mermaid that a drunken sailor brought home one night long ago. She still remains in the house to look over her and protect her.
