Praise for The Woodlands from recent guests 'If you are looking for peace and tranquility, look no further! Our stay in the mountains was a great way to fill our vessels with solitude and relaxation. Sitting on a wrap around porch even when it was raining had a certain romance to it. The home was wonderfully maintained, plenty of room, big bathroom with all the modern conveniences. Even our TV at home doesn't carry that many channels - and for being so private and remote, it was a wonderful bonus to have internet connection for our laptop computers as well! This is a great set up for a family or a couple to just relax, hike through the mountains, but yet close to town for dinners and entertainment as well. A big thank you to the hosts and especially to Kudos - the official mascot of the welcoming committee!!!' Note: Kudos is our friendly, rescued yellow Labrador retriever.
