Beacon Point is a quiet corner yet it's near excellent restaurants, great shopping, entertainment and sports of all kinds. The Bourne Sports World is 5 minutes away offering go-carts, bumper cars, an arcade, children rides and activities as well as a public 18 hole course with clubhouse and an outstanding restaurant. Buzzards Sailing Club offers sailing by the week to kids, go to BuzzardsSailing.org. Ryan Family Amusements and a Water Wizz are in Wareham. Sandwich, a charming town, is close by with the oldest house on the Cape, Dexter Grist Mill, a doll museum & more for the family.
