A lakeside swimming hole is within walking distance of the Yew Tree Cottage where there is a water slide, volleyball courts, barbeque pits and a kiddy pool. Also available are golf, tennis, darts, horseshoes, and inside board games and cards. Wild blackberries are available for picking in late September. We'll show you our favorite location. And you can dig for clams, or trying fishing in either the fresh water lake or Puget Sound. Two bicycles are available along with one three wheel bike. High speed internet service is available for your laptop. We provide printer for your use.

Outdoor activities abundant Take a leisurely walk or an all day hike in the beautiful surrounding hills and trails whether its to a nearby lake or the Puget Sound's salt water. Be sure to bring your camera. You can also play volleyball, horseshoes, tennis, ride bikes, visit a museum, relax on the deck with a book, or just get lost for the day on the island.

Beautiful Anderson Island Anderson Island is truly a wonderful retreat from everyday cares, yet close enough to a major city for shopping, entertainment and an international airport. (Seattle). Yew Tree Cottage is ideal for active couples who enjoy nature and water sports without the crowds.
