  • The upstairs bathroom has a refinished 1928 clawfoot tub original to the house along with a new Walk-in corner Shower Unit. It reflects a 1930s decor yet has all new plumbing and fixtures. The house is equipped with a Rennai hot water heating system which provides hot-water on demand at all times. The powder room on the main floor was added during the renovations and used to be a closet. It's convenient and in the middle of the house. The full bathroom in the Rumpus Room (basement) has a walk-in shower with a ceramic tile bathroom heated floor.

The home has 3 floors that include second floor bedrooms & bathroom. A powder room is located on the main floor with a full bath in the basement. Stairs are necessary in order to use this facility for overnight stays. The home was built in 1928 and is a classic American Foursquare home. The home is also equipped with unique nostalgic items from the 1950s, 60s & 70s including a 1969 Pinball Machine, a 1949 Shuffle Bowling alley, a Knotty Pine Bar in the Rumpus Room, Table-top Juke Box, and 1940s candy machine, and much more!

Restaurants There are several excellent restaurants for fine dining in the area as well as good home-style restaurants, fast food and other familiar chain restaurants. Pittsburgh dining is 25 miles or a 30, 45 minute drive. Seven Springs is less than an hour away. There are 2 yummy pizza shops, a Dairy Queen, Bakery & Grocery Store all within walking distance. A friendly local 'watering hole' tavern is also within walking distance on the Main Street.

Shopping Many vintage & antique shops are close by within a few minutes or up to a 15 minute drive. Brand new Tanger Outlet Mall is 20 minutes away. Several Shopping Malls are within 30 minute drive.

Churches Just like in those Good Ol' Days when faith in God was the center of any community--- Churches of all denominations are nearby and most within walking distance to the home.
