Special Local Restaurants In addition to the Spud Point Crab Co.,already mentioned, you have: Terrapin Creek Cafe, a small, intimate restaurant, good art on the walls, owned and run by young culinary couple. (Eastshore Rd). The Bluewater Bistro at Bodega Harbor: great ocean views. The Duck Club at Bodega Bay Lodge and Spa (for high end dining) . Try the new 'Cioppino', site of the former Claudio's for great Italian, including pizza. (along Hwy 1). And for wine-tasting: Gourmet au Bay, wonderful back deck over the harbor for sunset happy hour. (along Hwy 1).

Art Galleries In Bodega Bay: Local Color Gallery. The Bodega Bay Heritage Gallery: amazing historical collection of California artists. The Ren Brown Collection. In Valley Ford: The West County Gallery: fine woodwork, ceramic, and painting.

Please Note: No dogs are allowed on Salmon Creek Beach due to protection of the Snowy Plover bird. However, dogs on leash ARE allowed on adjacent beaches: Bodega Bay Dunes State Park (south) and Wright's Beach (north).
