Notes:

Children are welcome but must be watched carefully in the backyard. The house is built on a cliff over the cove. Dogs are okay if they stay off the furniture and don't come into the house like wet mops. My own dogs aren't allowed beyond the kitchen.

Advice on great hiking, whalewatching, birding, beachcombing, spots for painting and photography.

Culture Available from Karen: Information on the fishing communities of Digby Neck and the Islands, the nearby French shore and its festivals, Digby's Scallop Days and arts from Annapolis to Bear River to Briar Island, also some advice on my favorite places to eat, shop and my favorite fish and lobster recipes!

History Available from Karen: Information on Port Royal, Annapolis Royal, the expulsion of the the Acadians and Longfellow's Evangeline.

Golf Information: There is golfing in Digby at the Pines Resort. Although we don't golf, it's supposed to be a terrific course.
