This lofty light-filled studio is beautifully appointed with an eclectic mix of Asian antiques and modern design. The fusion of the old and the new is evident in the brand-new kitchen where above the dark wood cabinets, that beautifully offset the lighter wood floors and stainless appliances, is an antique wooden family crest that once adorned one of the owners' grandfather's Sonoma County winery back int he 1950's.

A writing desk in the corner of the living space that is surrounded by windows makes a wonderful spot to write, or work - if you have to. The house is equipped with wireless internet access. A private patio is a lovely spot to sit and breathe-in the gentle Sonoma sunrises, or to imbibe the local product on magical evenings. The studio is situated on the back of an acre on a quiet cul-de-sac.

Two wineries are in walking distance, dozens within a few minutes drive. Downtown Healdsburg is 15 minutes away down lovely country roads, the coast about 45 minutes, San Francisco an hour. Wonderful restaurants in Graton, Sebastopol and Forestville are 5 to 10 minutes away. Available Year-round, available as of 4/26/09
