Beaches Here is a list of our favorite beaches on the island: Coralita Bay – it’s walking distance Dawn Beach – it’s the closest drive-to beach and it’s beautiful! Gallion Beach – it’s a great beach for young kids or if you like windsurfing. Ile Pinel – it’s charming but it costs $15 per person for the 2 minutes boat ride. Baie Rouge – it’s one of the prettiest beaches of the island.

Laundry There is a small wash-dry-fold operated out of a garage located ¼ mile past Captain’s Oliver. There is also a larger wash-dry-fold/self-service facility in Quartier d’Orleans called Laverie 2000.
