This safe city has the longest pier in California, 8.5 miles of sand beaches, mild climate all year long and some of the best surfing waves in the United States. With natural beauty reminiscent of the Hawaiian Islands, over 11 million people are drawn each year to this Southern California location because of its easy, warm feeling. You might see stars in town, such as Jason from the OC or Dennis Rodman who lives in Surf City and loves it. Lots of stars stay or visit but most find it a laid back get away from the hustle of Los Angeles city life.
