It has a large lake, two hotels, two restaurants, $25 million Sports and Racquet club, World-class tennis facilities (former home of USTA Mercedes Championships), Arcadian Shores Golf Club, 12 outdoor pools and four indoor pools, six jacuzzis, water park with slides, water cannons, dunking bucket and lazy river, kids' programs, poolside entertainment during the day and in the evening during the summer, walking and biking trails, water sports, convenient access to shopping, dining and entertainment.

Also, only a short walk down the beach is the Famous Ocean Annie's Beachfront Bar.Locate two miles from the famed Dunes Club and Golf Resort. Less than one mile away is the Pro Bass Outlet, shopping mall, Tanger Outlet, Walmart Superstore, movie theater, Comedy Cabana, Dixie Stampede, Carolina Opry, Rossi's Fine Italian, Southern Fresh Market, Calabash Seafood, Chuck's Steak House, Thoroughbreds, Sam Sneads, Kroger Grocery and Much More.
