For guests with allergies all soft floor coverings can be easily removed- just let us know in advance. Please be aware that the floor plan- with the bath located off the smaller bedroom- might be awkward for unrelated couples. The smaller bedroom is equipped with a twin trundle bed (ie two twins).

More About the Property Maybe you want to get out of the neighborhood? The more urban cultural attractions of downtown Santa Cruz are 15 minutes away. Maybe you don’t like that kind of culture? The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and its Giant Dipper roller coaster are also 15 minutes away. Due to the floor plan of the cottage it is best suited to couples and small families. The kitchen/dining area is light, bright, and roomy, and separate from the family room where the TV is located. The Garden bedroom has a queen bed and large closet, and looks through a big sliding door onto the garden, while the “Kids” bedroom is smaller and has a (two twins) trundle bed. The bathroom is located off the “Kids” room, so everyone had better be very close friends or family. Overall floor space of the cottage is ample for 4.

Madeline’s Cottage is located behind our own personal home on our 1/3 acre lot, so you will not feel wedged in amongst a lot of other vacation rentals, and we take pride in making your stay as pleasant as possible. It has a fully equipped kitchen with all utensils and basic spices and condiments, but if you have special needs please let us know. Also, if you have dust allergies and let us know a bit in advance we can remove all soft-surface flooring from the cottage. We’re looking forward to your visit!
