Local attractions The loft apartment is located on Amherst street on the eastern side of downtown Montreal, within walking distance of:
-the Village (around the corner)
-the Latin Quarter (5 minutes)
-historic Old Montreal (15 minutes)
-Place des Arts (15 minutes)
-Plateau Mont Royal (20 minutes)
-Downtown shopping (20 minutes).
If you do not feel like walking, the Berri-UQAM subway station is a convenient two blocks away.
There are a number of excellent, highly-recommended restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the loft.
Bicycles can be rented at the bike shop just down the street. Amherst street is also known for its galeries, boutiques and retro-antique shops.
