Further Details for the cabin in Adirondacks, New York, USA

Glen Lake Glen Lake is approximately 3 miles long. The cabin is located in the deeper wider sections of the lake. There are two islands, the larger one has a lighthouse and cabin. There is a restaurant on the opposite side of the lake 'The Docksider'. The fishing is wonderful. There is a wetland, swamp area at the inflow of the lake which is full of wildlife and birds. The view from the cabin is of Prospect Mountain, French Mountain and the other mountains separating Glen Lake from Lake George. The water is comfortable and great for swimming and activities. Most of the homes along the lake are year round and it tends to be very quite during the week, especially during the day. It is truly a beautiful place to be.

The cabin The cabin was built during the 1930's. It is very lovely and surrounded by woods tucked into the side of the hill. The cabin is located on the same property as the owners home. The driveway is shared but the landscaping very nicely separates the two. You have your own private swimming area. It is wooded on either side of the swim area (no one has a beach or swim area right next to you). The view from the screened in porch is breath taking. You can see up the lake, the islands and the sunsets.
