French doors open up into your private patio, paved with terracotta tiles, it contains a sitting area, antique mosaic table and chairs and a gas BBQ Grill. Surrounded by exotic potted plants, a fountain and a garden/flower bed planted with rare palm trees. Perfect for afternoon drinks, dinner and relaxation. Located in the SAMARKAND area of Santa Barbara, meaning 'the Land of hearts desire' in the archaic Persian tongue, the mythical city of Queen Scheherazade of the 1001 Nights.

This beautiful residential area is nestled between the mountains and the ocean, with a special micro-climate that gives us plenty of sunshine all year long. It is conveniently located close to parks, hiking trails, beaches, shopping, restaurants, golf, tennis and downtown. Half a block from the Santa Barbara Community Golf Course, three blocks to the Earl Warren Showgrounds (the site of many horse shows), a five minute stroll to Oak park and tennis courts, less than a mile to Hendrys Beach and shops on the Upper Part of State Street and La Cumbre Plaza. Like Queen Scheherazade you will also be enchanted if you are staying three nights or a 1001, in this beautiful and unique property.
