    - For a home which can comfortably sleep 14 people, $550 per night is a steal when you consider the location along with everything this home has to offer. For anything similar to this in a hotel on the beach you are 4 rooms at $250 per night.
  • - $500 holding fee which turns into a deposit returned within 14 days if the home is left in good condition.

    - 50% of rental amount due 60 days prior to arrival date.

    - Balance is due 14 days prior to arrival.

    - Preferred payment method is credit card through Pay Pal. You can also pay by check using the Pay Pal system.

Also a separate 1/2 bath is on this floor with a toilet and wah basin. - Main Floor has a very nice 1/2 bath with wash basin off the kitchen. - Bottom Floor has a large full bathroom with a very nice shower. - Outdoor shower is available on the side of the home with hot and cold water along with plenty of privacy.

A double bed is available and fits nicely on the floor in the office. In reality you are looking at 3 bedrooms. Sleeps 6 and bathroom on the floor. Sleeping areas and bathrooms on all floors. Home works really well for 2 couples with children. You can put up to 6 kids on the ground floor and then each adult couple has at least a Queen Bed on their own floor with a bathroom.

Some say the weather in San Diego is the best in the world. We tend to agree and with the unique combination of a desert on the ocean you can expect many clear, sunny and cool days. You will not be have any problems finding many activities. San Diego is very kid friendly with Sea World across the Bay and our world famous Zoo just a short 15 minute drive. Also nearby is LegoLand, Knots Soak City, Disneyland and Universal Studios. The house includes pamphlets listing all the near by activities for a vacation you and your family will not forget. For the guys and gals who like to golf, the world famous Torrey Pines Municipal Course is just 5 minutes up the coast. Give a go and see if you can play the same course in which Tiger won a US Open on one leg. This is a high end rental for which we do not charge a cleaning service. This home caters to families with children. Young adults under 25 looking for a house to have a keg party need not bother inquiring about renting.

You will be coming in off the beach early to enjoy this classy old style home. The kitchen is one of the most beautiful kitchens we have seen. Yes, we know it’s ours, but just take a look at the pictures. We’re not sure if it’s the open beam ceiling, the warm colors, the lighting or the mix of materials, but it’s got a special energy that will keep you home for dinner instead of going out. It’s just too easy to open a bottle of wine and toss some fish or steaks on that huge Viking grill and relax and maybe pop in a movie on that 50” plasma screen. Don’t worry about leaving to find a movie; there are over 100 DVDs in the case under the home theater system.

The house has two small cottage style bedrooms on the first floor, a bunk bed in one and a Queen bed in the other. Vintage Nantucket beach houses were well known for there funky little sleeping rooms and more extravagant quarters for the masters of the house. These rooms have an office area with a computer and printer for your use. The computer is hardwired to the Internet with wireless broadcasting from the second floor. Also, a double bed can be placed on the floor and sleeps 2 in the office area. Office area also has a number of children books and a DVD player to keep those little ones occupied. The first floor bath is beautifully appointed with hot water fed from a tank-less water heater. There is a two car side by side garage with laundry on the first level.

The second floor is home to the living room with fireplace, dining room, family/TV area, adjoining kitchen and a beautiful powder room finished in classic cottage style. The living room has large French doors on the second floor deck that open out, joining the living area to the covered balcony. Also the leather sofa has a pull out Queen -Size air-dream bed which you will love. There is no shortage of space or seating with plenty of room for everyone to find their own personal favorite place to sit and relax. The third floor houses the master suite with cathedral ceilings, huge dormer windows, desk area, beautiful window seat (sleeps one person if needed) and a great master bath with huge skylights to let the summer sun inside. A few steps from the master is a powder room that serves the master as well as guests on the large roof deck. The deck has a teak table with leaves to seat 6 for dinner.

Skiing Information: You can drive 2 hours to Big Bear and ski during the morning. Return in the afternoon to lay out on the beach.

Golf Information: Did you watch Tiger Woods win the US Open on one leg in 2008? Do you remember the beautiful Ocean views? Well this is Torrey Pines and the municipal course is 5 minutes away and open to the public.
