A 15 to 20 minute drive to ocean beaches of Narragansett, Scarborough and Newport. Jamestown Island, a little treasure, with ferry service to Newport, is just 5 minutes across the Jamestown Bridge. Ferry to Block Island is 20 minutes away. Newport's fine restaurants, famous cliff walk and mansion tours, is a 10 minute drive. Picture postcard village of Wickford, renown for its annual July Art Festival, quaint shops and pretty marina, is just 4 miles away. For city activity, Providence is a 25 minute drive offering theater, excellent restaurants, museums, the Roger Williams Zoo & special events such as 'Water Fire''. Watch Hill with its flying horses carousel is 40 minutes away & Connecticut casinos are less than an hour away. Greene Airport PVD (19 miles) and Amtrak's Kingston Station (9 miles). Bus to Newport at top of street.

Our home is well kept, in excellent condition, completely updated and waiting for guests in every season of the year to enjoy its warmth and charm. It is ideal for families. It is also ideal for wedding guests, parents visiting one of our many colleges and universities nearby or for those attending special events in Newport or other nearby locations.

Summer is a terrific time to be in Rhode Island, but the other seasons are appealing as well. There is the fall when you can take scenic drives to view the beautiful foliage or take in the annual Oktoberfest in Newport; the winter with its festive holiday activities including the Newport Winter Festival; and the spring when many of our local farms begin to bring fresh produce to market. Our many state parks, most of which are within a 45 minute drive, show off their array of flowering trees and shrubs. The popular Newport Flower Show is held in June.
