Great Location Excellent location no traffic congestion here. Public transportation across the street from the front door. Public parking for 5th street is 5 blocks away at I-35. Stay local, walking distance to Progress Cafe, Live Oak Brewing, Scoot Inn & Bier Garten, Longbrach Inn, The Peacock, Hot Mama's Expresso Bar, Cisco's, Cafe Mundi, Nuevo Leon, Casa Columbia, Dario's, Del las Casa Mexican, Sips on 7th, El Azteca, Juan in a Million to name a few.
Town Lake Connect to the Town Lake hike and bike trails for walking, running, biking, canoe or row. Located on the Lance Armstrong Bikeway. East Side Pedal Pushers just a half block away, they can get you suited up. Ride down to Fiesta Gardens catch the Lake trail. Check out the ducks and swans. Ride up to TGI Fridays, $2 tacos and get a beverage. Ride down to one of the crossovers and ride up Barton Springs. Rent a canoe or learn to Kayak.
Airport and Downtown For business fast routes to downtown 5 min, Interstate 35 or the Convention Center 15 minute walk, and the airport just take 7th Street 15 minutes easy in either direction. Less than a mile from the 6th Street Entertainment district. The Warehouse district. Auditorium Shores, Barton Springs all very close. The North end of South Congress Avenue just 1 mile.
Golf Information: Three nice public courses all within 2 miles. Lions 512-477-6963, Morris Williams 512-926-1298, Riverside 512-386-7077. And two 9 hole facilities Hancock and Harvey Penick.
