Towels and sheets can be rented. Bring your own linens or rent them for $10 per person (not per night.) Air mattresses can be placed on the floor to sleep additional guests in two of the bedrooms, the living room and great room. There is a $20 per person per night charge for each additional guests over 15. You must supply your own mattresses and linens for these guests. Additional Rental Terms: Minimum stay 2 nights. A deposit of half of the rent plus $200 as security against damages is required to make a confirmed reservation. The balance of the rent is due prior to your arrival. The damage deposit will be refunded within 30 days following the lease term, net of any telephone charges you incur and the cost of repairs for any damages. Full refund of deposit with 45 days notice, otherwise only the damage deposit will be refunded. Longer term reduced rates are available.

Open Calendar We've just put the place out to rent, so you will find the calendar fairly open. This doesn't reflect the place itself -- check out the pictures!

Winter Activities The house is a little father from Hunter than some (40 minutes) so that is reflected in the price. Still, the beauty and spaciousness of the house should be a consideration. On rain days when skiing isn't available, you'll be happy to be in a house with so many places to gather, such a nice large kitchen to cook and gather in, the library of DVD's, the high speed y-fi internet, the stock of books and games, the bird feeders outside the great room windows, and the great room itself -- a place where a large group can gather comfortably. The Coxsackie Antique Center is 15 minutes away -- it has over 100 dealers in 15,000 s.f. of space, open daily until 8 pm.

Summer Activities Tanglewood Summer home of the Boston, Symphony and various concert programs is 1.25 hrs. away. Hiking and all of the sites and activities in the Catskills, from fly fishing to boating are within an easy drive. The Saratoga Racetrack, the finest in the United States has thoroughbred races from July 29th to September 7th. Catskill Mountain Balloon offers hot air balloon rides and training nearby. There are a number of rustic golf courses nearby (within 5-10 miles) with rolling hills and modest greens fees. And there is horseback riding in the vicinity.
