Things to do in area Tuckaway Shores Resort is located in Indialantic, Fl, one of the closest beaches to Orlandos's attractions for day trips. 45 min. south of NASA's Kennedy Space Center, 30 min. south of Port Canaveral's cruise terminals for 1/2 day gambling junkets to full cruises. Near historic downtown Melbourne with restaurants, antique shops and specialty shopping. Eco-river tours and kayaking on river or take an air boat ride in the back country. Kids will love Andreti Thrill Park and renowned Brevard Zoo. Surf fish, back country flats fishing or deep sea fishing out of Sebastian Inlet 14 miles south. Numerous golf courses from ocean views to night driving ranges. Beach activities include : Surfing (our beach is one of the best areas in the county and try skim or boogie boarding. There's always beach combing for shells, take in long walks for rejuvenation or just relax on the beach. Lots of fine dining to casual restaurants in our area.
