Perfectly situated for summer fun; private, wooded setting served by a quiet private road out of view from house. Tranquil sunsets, sand between your toes, with all that 'Up North' has to offer within an easy hike, bike, or drive! Only 20 miles to downtown Traverse City, 5 miles to Interlochen Village and the Center for the Arts/Music Camp. Betsie River is a half mile away, or Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is 35-45 minutes from here. Or, not go anywhere and have a terrific time with friends or family right here! Sandy beach, early season swimming, excellent fishing for everything typical of MI inland lakes except Walleye, high-quality spring-fed, weed-free, all-sports lake! (more hyphens=more fun) The lake is truly remarkable, and at 90 acres, very canoe, paddle-boat, kayak and fisherman friendly. Rained out, no worries! Don't forget about the game room with pool and foosball tables, darts and a bar...you're set either way at Pinecone Cottage 2!

Both levels of Family rooms also include Expanded Cable plus 25 Premium Movie Channels. All bedrooms have TV w/ expanded Basic Cable, some with built in DVD/VCR players. Plenty of parking in private driveway, room for boat trailers. Large, automatically-irrigated lawn, privacy landscaping and flowerbeds. Property treated for mosquitoes regularly. Basic fishing gear, plus an abundance of life preservers, water and sand toys are in beach shed. Campfire pit, tiki torches, roasting skewers (also in the beach shed) State land adjacent (wooded) Small market and a tavern in Village of Karlin is only 2 miles away, DNR licenses available there.
