Wyndham Williamsburg at Kingsgate is just the sort of resort visitors wish for when they explore Colonial America. Spacious units are furnished in the style of the Colonial period, yet resort amenities are refreshingly up to date. The Williamsburg historic area is less than a mile from the resort, and Jamestown settlement, Yorktown, The College of William and Mary, and Busch Gardens are all located nearby.

Indoor and outdoor pools and a spa tub are featured at the resort's pool area. Adjacent to the pool area is the recreation center, which provides an adults-only billiards room, family game room, video game arcade, sauna, tanning beds, a fitness room and computer library. A miniature golf course is also on site, along with a tennis court, jungle gym and outdoor barbecue grills. Complimentary high-speed Internet access is available in public areas. Parking is also complimentary.

The Wyndham Kingsgate Resort has 600 guestrooms in 47 two- and three-story buildings (no elevators). Accommodations offer traditional decor and rich colors and fabrics. All have kitchens or kitchenettes with refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers, living areas with sofa beds and entertainment centers that include cable television with free HBO and VCRs. Other amenities include washers and dryers, dining areas and Complimentary local calls. Housekeeping is available for an additional fee. Two-bedroom units have jetted tubs.
