Nearest towns Cascais town (10 km), is a delightful seaside village, plenty of wonderful beaches (Guincho for wind surfers and kit surfers), has a Marina, good night life, restaurants, shopping centres and lots of history and places to see. Nearby is Estoril known has the Portuguese Riviera with its casino and beautiful sandy beaches. It is the perfect place to be in the Costa do Estoril while escaping the crowds and coastal heat. The town of Sintra with its castles and palaces is classified by UNESCO as World Heritage Site. Other historical sites include Mafra, Azenhas do Mar, Ericeira

Property has caretakers The Quinta has caretakers living on the property, they tend the garden and pool and maintain the house daily (collect rubbish, tidy up bathrooms, prepare a log fire for the evening, and collect garden furniture).

The property It is an ideal haven for a family in the summer offering plenty of entertainment within its walls as well as opportunities to keep busy or find quiet.

Golf Information: Portugal is famous for its golf courses, and there are twelve highly rated examples in the Lisbon area. Many of the best ones are between Estoril and Sintra The most famous course is Penha Longa Golf Club in a former monastic estate, designed by Robert Trent Jones and that has hosted the Portuguese Open. The Estoril Golf Club, right on the A5 motorway from Lisbon to Cascais, has 27 holes designed by McKenzie Ross. This also hosts the Portuguese Open and international competitions. Quinta de Marinha, just outside Cascais on the Guincho road, was also designed by Robert Trent Jones
