This is a very quiet location but near enough to the main roads that take you into town. The home was recently renovated in the summer of 2008. There is sport fishing, deep sea fishing, and all the water sports you can think of at Kaunakakai harbor. At sunset you can walk down to the harbor and watch the paddlers practicing their sport. . The espresso bar offers bagels, egg sandwiches and pastries for breakfast, sandwiches and salads for lunch and our famous 'mocha mama' blended coffee drinks. The convenience of Kualapu'u Market and the Kualapu'u Cookhouse Restaurant are in short walking distance

Visiting Moloka'i Today a spirit of independence and rugged individualism still prevails. The percentage of native Hawaiians is far higher here than on the other islands. People here tend to resist modernization. People live outdoors a lot - hunt, fish, farm. Visitors are welcome, but they don't find much in the way of tourist attractions. There isn't a traffic light on the island. No building taller than a coconut tree. Mohala ka pua i ka mala pua. Translation: A blossom blooming in the garden. Explanation: Beauty reveals itself in a favorite place. (Moloka'i will soon be one of your favorite places to visit over and over again).

Coffee Plantation Tour Packages It’s time to immerse you in the rich history of coffee and learn how this specialty coffee made its way to Moloka‘i. Mule Drawn Wagon Tour Join our regularly scheduled Mule Drawn Wagon tours Monday t Friday at 9:00 am or 1:00 pm. This 2-hour guided tour encompasses each phase of the coffee process. Our knowledgeable staff will take you on a journey through the coffee fields overlooking the vastness of Kualapuu and Hoolehua. Upon returning to the plantation base yard, you’ll receive a detailed overview of the coffee beans’ journey. It all starts at our well groomed nursery, followed by a visit to our wet processing mill, a walk through the dry mill, which details sorting, grading and sizing, followed by a visit to our roasting and packaging room. The tour ends with a coffee cupping session and free 7oz bag of any of our Island Blend Coffees. $35.00 per person. Hale Kope guests receive a 20% discount on the above regularly scheduled tours.
