Walkway to water is at the resort. you can walk to the beach from the house, although it is 1/2 of a mile with coolers beach chairs, etc., we would recommend driving to the resort, as parking permit is included with the rental. The beach is just steps away along with the pool sauna etc, Beach chairs, Kayaks, and patio furniture are all available for rent upon request. The carriage house is on the original property as the sea captains house its all yours to use. Any lawn or patio furniture is available for you to mix and match as your needs require if you want a set of furniture that is on the lawn to use on the porch just call us and we can move it for you, or feel free to swap it out . Board games are available for both Kids and adults .there is also a playstation but you will need to bring or rent your own favorite games as they tend to walk off if we provide them.

It's a superior and affordable alternative to staying at a motel. The home's location is close to all lower cape beaches, fly fishing, charter boats and family fun attractions such as Harbor Glen Mini Golf, a very large and detailed course with an adjacent seafood restaurant. Bud's Go-Carts, a true Cape Cod favorite for over 35 years, is also nearby and is not something to miss. At the bumper boats and batting cages you can battle each other on the high seas where you bump and squirt water at your opponents or practice your swing at the batting cages; it’s a lot of fun. The trampolines are always a fun time, and for the adults there are many pubs with entertainment as well as fine dining and fried seafood spots. Much of this vacation fun is within walking distance from this ideally located rental.The house is on an one acre parcel of land, along with the sea Captains house. You have full run of the property you can mix and match the lawn and patio furniture to your liking .

As the carriage house is on the original property as the sea captains house you are more than welcome to use its grounds as well and 'Tina' the owner, will be very happy to show you around this historic sea captains home... if you're nice she will make your family a wonderful dinner. and bring it to you out on the front lawn.Don't pass up this wonderful opportunity to introduce yourself to her and her hospitality. What a great cook. If you have any questions feel free to ask we are here for you. We make every effort to keep you happy. We are here for you anytime day or night and will do anything to accommodate you, all you need to do is call. The house isn't for everyone- it is a 236 year old antique. Sometimes windows stick or doors squeak, but to many its part of the charm. The house is clean and passes all health codes. Its restored, has new appliances, marble counters new bath rooms yet still keeps its charm.

On cape cod most town fathers and environmental agency's want to maintain the charm of the towns and will not allow side walks to be built along road sides that go to most beaches. This is also the case with our rental. But the road is residential and there isn't much traffic on it. The outdoor shower is just that, an outdoor shower. It gets wet and occasionally algae grows (not mold, only algae) due to sunlight that causes photosynthesis. We address it if it forms immediately upon notification. If it has been a very rainy week it can grow quickly. Just give or staff a call and they can bleach it out in 10 minutes. You have full use of the sea captains grounds many have held weddings set up tents and play volley ball, badminton, croquet, boche ball, wiffle ball etc. Feel free to use it as you wish. you are not confined to only the carriage house. We also have a resort down the street, on the beach you are welcome to use as well.
