Internet access is provided for those of you who must stay connected to the outside world. Being on the lake brings a host of water activities. In addition, the Lake Placid Home allows for you to spend your non-lake time in the lap of luxury. Watch movies and sporting events on the large screen TV with DVD, or play Foosball® and darts in the activity room. Dine in either the breakfast room overlooking the lake, or on the covered patio. Got kids? They will love the wooden playground with its own fort, while you sun on the deck overlooking the lake, or work on your all over tan on your very private sun patio. At the end of the day, you can relax with your loved one in your double hammock/swing. When the partying stops, retire to one of the three spacious bedrooms where you can read, watch TV or ????. You get all of this, plus you can stay in touch with the office, with a high-speed internet connection in the small, but private office.

In addition, a spacious dog run with access to the garage is provided for your four legged friends. The 2,200 square foot home with nearly 100 feet of lakeshore and a large shaded yard makes this the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway or an extended family vacation. There are so many great things to do at the house or nearby. Bring your boat and jet skis and spend the day on the water. Water skiing and wakeboard enthusiasts can find lessons on the lake, or visit the world renowned Texas Ski Ranch, just 20 minutes down the road. Only 15 minutes from the house is New Braunfels where you will find the world famous Schlitterbahn Water Park, and can take a relaxing float down either the Comal or Guadalupe River. Gruene is also just a 15-minute drive where you can find the famous Gruene Hall, The Gristmill or great antique shops. San Marcos is only a 20 minute drive away, where you can shop till you drop at the Outlet Mall.

Visit Wonder World, or even take a glass bottom boat tour at The Aquarena Center. Thirty minutes to San Antonio and you can visit The Alamo, The I-Max Theater, and The River Walk, Splashtown. Fiesta Texas and Seaworld are less than a 60 minute drive. The area has numerous great golf courses for the days you don't want to spend on the river.
