This cozy and comfortable Maine vacation home is situated right on the beautiful St. George River. Come and relax for a week or longer. Fish from the dock or sit on the porch swing and daydream. Enjoy kayaking, reading, cooking, hiking, and just savor the feeling of total relaxation. This 3-bedroom/3-bath home features excellent living facilities. It's just a short drive to beaches, lighthouses, Camden, Rockport, and Boothbay Harbor. River Mist is a roomy and cozy vacation home that includes a dock and a separate outdoor hot tub. There are amazing 180 degree views of the river from the Great Room on the 2nd floor. There are also pastoral views of the farm next door, as well as a scenic rail bridge that spans the river. The kitchen is set up well for cooking. Amenities include microwave, electric stove, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, lobster pot. There is also an outdoor gas grill and picnic table. The house is well stocked with books, videos and games.

The three bathrooms are all tiled and include a plentiful basket of toiletries. All linens and towels are freshly washed. There is also a full-size washer and dryer for your own use. River Mist is a perfect romantic getaway for a couple. It is also a warm and welcoming retreat for a group or family. Are you an artist? A writer? River Mist is a quiet and peaceful place to write that screenplay you've got in you. A short drive brings you to beautiful Camden Harbor, where you can shop, visit fabulous restaurants or just walk along the waterfront. Enjoy a traditional Downeast dinner at a boardwalk cafe. Take a harbor cruise on a beautiful schooner. Enjoy a sunset on the rocky coastline of Owl's Head as you tour one of the most photographed lighthouses on the east coast. River Mist is a year-round vacation home. In the winter, enjoy skiing in nearby Camden. In the summer, cook delicious lobster and eat it on the decks as you watch the bald eagles soaring over the river.
