This historic log camp (early 1900's) on the North shore of Rangeley Lake has a new log addition which includes a modern kitchen, 1.5 baths, and a washer/dryer. There is a gas log stove in the historic camp, and a Rinnai gas heater in the new addition. This 2-bedroom/1.5-bath cabin is just 75 feet from the lake with a non-motorized boat launch/shared access swimming area 100 feet from the cabin. It's surrounded by birches, maples, cedars, and pines. Abundant raspberries and blueberries nearby in season.

The Rangeley Lakes Region in Western Maine has been a tourist destination for well over a century. The area boasts an abundance of lakes, streams, mountains and forests which offer a host of outdoor activities. The town of Rangeley, incorporated in 1855, represents small town atmosphere at its finest, with a wonderful library and waterfront park, marina, antique, gift, and ice cream shops, historical society, IGA, and over a dozen restaurants from casual to fine dining. The Appalacian trail traverses the 3-4,000 foot mountains that surround Rangeley and Mooselookmeguntic lakes. Hiking trails abound. Wildlife sitings from moose, loons, deer and fox are common. The town hosts a variety of summer activities, including a concert series and a blueberry festival.

There are four adirondack chairs on the front deck, which has southern exposure and faces the lake only 75 feet away. There is a shared access swimming area/small boat (canoe or kayak) launch 100 feet to the east. Six other cabins share this area. Cabins are spread out over 400+ feet of shorefront in a nicely wooded area. Each has its own sense of privacy.
