It's located in the most desirable location in Santa Barbara -the Historic West Beach Area - just steps from the beach, Public Pool, Stearns Wharf, the harbor, world-class dining, downtown shops, and our own local farmers market. Leave your car and worries behind! This two-bedroom/two-bath is in a historical turn-of-the-century building, and retains the charm of the days bygone. It has been lovingly restored to reflect the true authentic Santa Barbara style. The hand cast plaster gives it both a romantic and European feeling. And the ten-foot ceilings, Waterford fireplace, and hardwood and limestone floors all add to its ambiance. Exquisite antique furnishings, which date to the late 1800's, were hand-selected and imported from Europe. One bedroom offers a queen French, queen-size, rosewood feather bed and matching armoire.

Location, Location - 2 blks to beach, public pool and the main street downtown which has all the points of interest - Sterns Wharf, restaurants, shops, museum, theaters, rentals, etc... A few helpful hints when comparing: We are in a nice residential enclave. We are Not in a far way suburb, Not on a commercial thorough fare and Not next to the highways (APS or 101) and Not next to the rail road tracks. Please be sure to ask about this when comparing. We also offer rare private reserved parking which is needed for parking next to the beach. Relax on our large private deck and enjoy the beach and sun. Park your car and leave your worries behind.

Each bedroom is complemented with an adjoining full bath. The bathrooms are immaculate, and all-new with limestone floors, granite countertops, a romantic tub and shower with dual showerheads, and custom Santa Barbara-style cabinets. The kitchen is a chef's dream. It has granite countertops, limestone floors, and custom cabinets made by our own local cabinetmaker, PJ Mulligan. It has state-of-the-art appliances including a sub-zero refrigerator, a Wolf's Chef Top stove, a convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, and, of course, a washer and dryer. The grand, warm living room is a great gathering area with its Waterford fireplace. Additionally, there is a custom-built entertainment center housing a 36-inch TV, a DVD, and a stereo. We also offer high spped internet via a wireless routner.

Historical ambiance - 2 blocks to beach & town And the living room features a down-filled leather couch (queen-size sleeper) from Australia to accompany the two overstuffed Venetian chairs. Enjoy the views through the glass doors to the courtyard and grand Italian fountain. The private courtyard has abundant flowers and green shrubbery, as well as chaise lounges, 2 sets of dining table and chairs and large gas grill is to enjoy the local favorites.
