Air filter on premises - smoking allowed ONLY OUT DOORS. Only with prior permission, pets allowed with a non-refundable deposit of $50, 2 pets maximum. Regarding Dixie's Mom's revview: We would like to say that we are truly sorry Dixie's Mom and dad were not happy with their visit. In the 6 years that we have been renting the chalet, we can honestly say that this is a first! The owners of A COZY SLICE OF HEAVEN welcome everyone and are delighted to cater to the needs of our renters at all times! As for the pumping unit she mentioned: Texas drilling laws do not allow pumping units to be as close as 27 yards to a residence and measures are required and put in place to ensure as quiet an atmosphere as possible at all times. We are confident that you will not find it to be noisey and intrusive.

To those who have rented in previous years, the problem we had with hydrilla has been completely eliminated! Thanks to our great Lake Restoration Committee's efforts, the lake is once again beautiful! We would love to have you come back and enjoy the tranquility and great fishing that Taylor Lake once again provides. This is a wonderful, small-family vacation rental, or a cozy, romantic get-away for two. This quiet, charming chalet on a private cove will beckon you back, again and again!

With it's wonderful 18-hole golf course, historic Livingston has numerous restaurants, fun antique shops and outlet mall just 17 miles away. The Alabama Cochatta Indian Reservation is located nearby with it's live-theater performances, guided nature tours and museum. Dine at the famous Hilltop Restaurant and Herb Farm, just 15 miles away where you will delight in their wonderful gourmet meals....or leisurely peruse their wonderful gift shop! Enjoy the slow pace and the sheer beauty and peacefulness of nature all around you!

Grab a beverage, a book or a fishing pole and come relax on the floating deck! The gentle movement on the water is guaranteed to wipe your stress away! Enjoy the sunlight dancing on the water while sitting under the shade of the deck's tin roof....or basking in the sun on the foredeck in the comfy Adirondack chairs, letting all your cares drift away....or, just take a little snooze if you wish!
